Man sentenced 6 Years for growing pot
LAMBERTVILLE - A Lambertville man has been sentenced to six years in state prison after police discovered he was growing 18 marijuana plants, police said.Police said George Axel Wieschenberg, 46, pleaded guilty on Jan. 25 to maintaining or operating a marijuana production facility and admitted he'd grown marijuana plants in a wooded section of a farm in Delaware Township. Police said Wieschenberg had formerly rented a house at the Rosemont Ringoes Road farmhouse.
Police said the investigation began after a state police helicopter pilot noticed very large marijuana plants in a secluded section of the farm. State police eventually proved that Wieschenberg was watering the plants and removing leaves. - Story From nj.com
